Protect your camera from the rigors of daily production life while adding accessory mounting points and power pass-through connections, and improving your camera s handholding readiness with the Camera Cage for ALEXA Mini/Mini LF. This modular cage features a V-mount battery plate that provides power to the camera, as well as video input and output ports, reducing the cable runs for a cleaner and neater camera build. Likewise, the power pass-through connections integrated into the top handle and top plate help avoid overloading your rig with cabling to the battery.

The aluminum and stainless steel cage features multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 ARRI-anti-twist accessory mounting points, allowing you to attach a variety of accessories without stressing the body of your camera. In addition to the threaded accessory mounting points, the cage also features NATO rails for additional accessory mounting. One ARRI-compatible rosette on each side of the cage enables you to mount a variety of Tilta and third-party handles and supports that improve the hand-holding capability of your camera rig.

The cage includes an EVF support that allows you to adjust the position of an optional EVF of your choice. The baseplate features 15mm LWS rod clamps, and the cage includes two sets of 15mm rods for mounting optional lens accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors, and matte boxes. The baseplate has an integrated shoulder pad for your comfort when shooting with your camera in a shoulder-mounted configuration.

Cage Features

• The battery plate is attached to a sliding bridge mount, so you can move it away from the back of the camera body when you need to access buttons and ports and then slide the battery snug to the camera body for a compact setup while operating.
• An EVF holder can be mounted off the top plate, which allows for 360° rotation and customizing how you want to view your ALEXA Mini/Mini LF EVF while operating.
• Top handle extensions allow you to extend the length of the top handle over the back of the setup for more comfortable operating in various positions.
• Left- and right-side arms stabilize the cage and provide protection and mounting points on all sides of the cage.
• These side arms include ARRI-compatible rosette connections that allow you to easily connect handles for a compact handheld operating setup.
• On the bottom of the cage is a 15mm LWS baseplate that allows you to attach various accessories via 15mm rods.
• The plate can mount on an optional Tilta Standard Dovetail to allow you to easily slide your camera rig on and off.
• The optional Tilta Standard to ARRI Standard Multi-Functional Baseplate can be purchased to adapt this cage to mount onto an ARRI Standard Dovetail.
