There are two rod clamps on each side, so if you prefer you can use two sets of rods, one in the front and one in the back. The Solid Baseplate brings the camera up to the correct lens height when using a separately available ARRI-standard bridge plate such as the 19mm or 15mm Unified Bridgeplate.
