XLCS Designs XLCS-MC-00016 Overview
The Camera Cage from XLCS provides added protection, stability, and accessory mounting threads for your Blackmagic Micro 4K G1 or G2 camera while leaving access open to all camera functions it even has a cutout for the tally light. The camera backloads into the formfitting cage, which surrounds it and keeps it secure on all sides without any movement or play. An optional back cover adds even more protection and accessory mounting.
Around the sides, top, and bottom, the cage offers numerous 1/4" -20 threads, six 3/8" -16 threads, and four 3/8" -16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads for mounting accessories such as microphones, extension arms, monitors, handles, and more.
On the front of the cage, two M4 threads allow you to utilize separately available lens adapters, such as Metabones or Viltrox. There are also 1/4" -20 threads on the front to accommodate separately available 15mm rods that can mount directly onto the cage.
