The Eckla Cam Disk Ground Pod is designed as a simple and handy alternative to a tripod for capturing low-angle shots. It s made of aluminum and can be placed directly on the ground or sand, mud, grass, and other surfaces. It stands at only 1.5 in height and enables you to get shots very close to the ground, something that s not possible, even with most tripods that have a low minimum height.
You can attach an optional ball head, magic arm, or various other camera supports to the 3/8 -16 screw on the top of the disk to support your camera. A carabiner hook is secured on the edge of the disk to allow you to clip the disk to your backpack. A pouch is also included for storing the Cam Disk when it s not in use.
