Novoflex Universal Clamp with 1/4' Screw

I bought his clamp to secure my Gigapan rig to the top of a ladder. The Gigapan device, with a Canon 5D mounted on it, is a fairly heavy device. With this clamp, I was able to easily mount my device to a ladder. The clamp was rock solid, as the Gigapan went through its paces, taking 120 images on the inside of a large building. The clamp is definitely expensive. But, I think it was worth it. Even though I bought it for a specific purpose, I can think of a number of other great applications for it. I recommend it! Another application for this device is to create stereograms of people, which requires photographing them from a high vantage point. While stereo cameras are generally light, and can possibly be secured with lighter duty clamps, this clamp is very secure. It is also flexible by allowing cameras to be mounted on two surfaces 90-degrees apart.

I use this for holding my camera that takes photos of my employees (of which we have probably 80,000). It gets a ton of use, looks very professional and clean, and is super strong.
