Capable of supporting larger DSLR cameras, with or without a battery grip, the CAMVATE Adjustable Universal Camera Cage with Quick Release Baseplate provides protection, comfortable operation, and a plethora of mounting points. The height-adjustable cage enables you to adjust it to snugly fit your DSLR camera as it can expand from almost 3.5 to over 8 in height, leaving plenty of room for you to use a battery grip with your camera. The cage is machined from an aluminum alloy for a positive balance between weight and durability.
In addition to the textured rubber grips that provide both comfort and a good gripping surface, this two-handed cage incorporates a Manfrotto-compatible quick release baseplate. This allows you to mount the cage on a tripod or other support, and then quickly release the camera from the cage and mount it on a tripod or other support with a Manfrotto-compatible quick release mechanism. The cage features a built-in top plate for mounting accessories.
