This durable aluminum Camera Half Cage with 15mm Rod Support & Top Handle from CAMVATE is designed to protect your DSLR or small camera while providing mounting options for accessories. It comes with a camera baseplate, a tripod baseplate, two swappable side cheese rods, two crossbars, a top plate, a top handle, and two 7.8 long 15mm rods.
The camera baseplate features a 1/4 -20 mounting screw for securing your camera, and it features rubber pads for protecting your camera from scratches and prevent twisting. The cage also comes with 4.9 and 5.7 side cheese rods for mounting a variety of cameras. The side rods provide multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 accessory mounting threads.
The bottom of the tripod base features multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threads for mounting on standard tripods. It also includes two 15mm rod blocks for improved stability and additional mounting options. The top handle allows you to perform low-angle shots and features a single 15mm rod port and a shoe mount, as well as plenty of 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 accessory threads.
