The FILMCITY DSLM Video Cage with Side Handle for Select Sony Mirrorless includes a formfitting protective cage and cheese-style top handle. It is compatible with Sony a6000, a6300, and NEX-7 cameras. The cage features two shoe mounts on top and multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 accessory threads. The removable side handle features both 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threaded accessory mounting holes. A large knob provides sufficient grip to tighten and loosen the grip securely.
The cage maintains access to the control buttons, connectors, and the battery compartment when mounted on the camera. The handle attaches directly to the side of the cage and features a slot that lets you adjust the height of the handle in relation to the cage. You can mount the handle on either side of the cage or on the top of the cage in either forward- or rearward-facing orientation. The handgrip of the handle features multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threaded holes.
The cage features a front plate that, along with the rubber pads on the inside, helps keep your camera from twisting in the cage.
Once mounted on your cage, you can change the orientation of the handle by loosening the large knob, repositioning the handle s direction, and then tightening down the knob.
