The FILMCITY DSLM Video Cage with Top Handle& 15mm Rod Support for Select Sony Mirrorless includes a formfitting protective cage, a cheese-style top handle, cable clamp, 12 support rods, a rod clamp bracket, and a baseplate. It is compatible with Sony a6000, a6300, and NEX-7 cameras. The cage features two shoe mounts on top and multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 accessory threads. The included top handle allows for easy camera transport and for mounting additional accessories using its two shoe mounts along with the 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threads.
The cage maintains access to the control buttons, connectors, and battery compartment when mounted on the camera. The rod clamp maintains the correct rod-to-lens center distance for rod-mounted lens accessories, and it features a quick release plate. This allows you to quickly mount your camera, in the cage, onto the rod support. The rod support also mounts onto the included baseplate, which you then attach to a tripod.
The cage features a front plate that, along with the rubber pads on the inside, helps keep your camera from twisting in the cage.
The top handle attaches via an included mounting rail (sliding handle base) on the cage. It features a spring-loaded locking lever.
Once mounted on your cage, you can change the orientation of the handle by loosening a slotted screw, repositioning the handle s direction, and then tightening down the screw.
The rod clamp features a built-in spirit level.
