Designed to support small camcorders and DSLRs, the Elements Plus Quick Release Baseplate with 15mm Rods from ikan consists of two pieces, a proprietary dovetail plate with 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threaded tripod mounting holes and a sliding balance plate that you attach to your camera. The sliding baseplate incorporates 15mm rod clamps, and the unit includes two 12 15mm rods.
The baseplate incorporates two 1/4 -20 thumbwheels one secures the camera to the top of the plate, and the second thumbwheel secures the sliding baseplate to the dovetail plate. Each thumbweel features a scalloped edges and a knurled pattern on the edges for improved grip.
