Kondor Blue Cage for FUJIFILM X-H2S (Space Gray)

The magnificence of the XH2S is that it is a stellar hybrid camera. I am a hybrid shooter; photojournalist and environmental documentary DP. Clearly this cage was designed for the video shooter, duh. The Kondor Blue cage for this camera is solid, it clamps to the camera on multiple points, and does not have any unwanted play. I was planning to replace two Smallrig cages with the Kondor Blue version. When video shooting with the Smallrig and a top handle attached, there is a concerning amount of play or shimmy; to the point I have wondered if it will break. I like having a cage on my cameras full-time as they provide some protection to the camera. My Smallrig cages have some scratches and dings that likely would have impacted the camera if they had not been installed. The Smallrig cages are easy on the hands when shooting hand-held, as they have rounded edges and a discrete form around the camera. The Kondor Blue cage is not discrete, it adds bulk to the overall size of the camera and is likely designed specifically for tripod shooting. The Kondor Blue cage has sharp corners and the Rosette adapter on the left side is obviously not smooth. Installing the Kondor Blue cage is a lil' bit more complicated than the Smallrig, but as I stated, it has a confidence building firm grip on the camera once in-place. I need to decide if I want a video only cage and buy a second or return the Kondor Blue cage and hope the Smallrig is strong enough to support the load and torque of a top handle with a 5 monitor and my beloved MKX series lenses on the camera.
