The LanParte Universal Camera Cage with 501-Compatible QR Plate and Top Handle integrates a Manfrotto 501-compatible baseplate system within the cage, making it easy to slide your camera in and out for lightweight, stripped-down operation. The aluminum cage provides a protective exoskeleton for your camera, protecting it from the rigors of production. The included top handle provides an ergonomic grip for low-angle shots or carrying the camera. The handle attaches to a removable NATO rail that you can mount on the top and the sides of the cage. Together, the cage and top handle feature numerous accessory mounting points that allow you to attach optional accessories, such as monitors, mics, articulating arms, and lights, to your rig without stressing your camera s delicate chassis.

Mount your camera on the baseplate and slide that into the cage. An adjustable tension lever lock secures the plate into the cage, keeping your camera secure and protected. While protecting your camera, the cage allows access to all the functions, as well as the card slots and battery compartment. The 1/4 -20 threaded holes along the sides and top of the cage provide ample mounting opportunities for optional articulating arms of other accessory instruments. The 3/8 -16 threaded mounting holes with anti-twist divots are located, one each, on the top of the cage and the side. A single built-in cold shoe on top allows additional accessory mounting.

The cage features an integrated baseplate system that allows you to mount your camera onto the included Manfrotto 501-compatible camera plate, so you can quickly transfer your camera between the cage to a different application that requires a stripped-down camera, such as a drone, and back again.

Designed to work with a variety of lenses, the matte box includes four adapter rings for 67, 72, 77, and 82mm lens sizes. The included removable top flag can be angled up to 180° and locked to block stray light from flaring your lens.

The matte box also includes a single 15mm rod clamp and a 3.9 rod for mounting on a variety of rigs, and a rod support attachment allows you to mount the matte box onto a cage or rig using screws. The adjustable clamp allows you to swing the matte box away from the rig for lens changes. The Lanparte Follow Focus V2 clamps onto 15mm LWS rods, allowing you to smoothly and accurately pull focus with cinema and DSLR lenses equipped with gear rings.
