Build up your DSLR or mirrorless camera for professional video and cinema production with the small Manfrotto Camera Cage. The cage itself surrounds your camera on three sides, adding a measure of protection to mirrorless cameras like Sony s a7 series and Panasonic s GH series, as well as smaller DSLR cameras like Canon s Rebel line and Nikon s D3000, D5000, and D7000 lines. 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 threaded holes line the top and sides of the cage for securing accessories such as articulating arms. The top of the cage leaves the space above the camera s accessory shoe unobstructed for mounting audio accessories, such as XLR adapters. An HDMI cable clamp is integrated with the cage s vertical post to protect the camera s HDMI port from cable snags, as well as all necessary mounting screws and an articulating wooden top handle.
