Movcam Universal LWS Base Plate with Arca-Swiss QR Mechanism

It's light, that's the one positive. Not compatible with a cage if you plan on using the rods and a mattebox(no height adjustment) Can ONLY use 38mm square arca swiss plates, 0 deviation, and even then it uses too sharp of angles to slide an actual 38mm arca swiss plate into(no it doesn't come with one and no movcam doesn't sell one). The bottom is Arri dovetail standard, only that it ISN'T. it, again, js too narrow for a Arri standard dovetail plate. I don't have an arri, but I have a wooden camera dovetail plate and a tilta dovetail plate, which both can use the same brideplates by Arri. I had to, risking fire since it's magnesium, and voiding any chance of return, file the corners just slightly enough to allow it to slide on. Had to adjust the red lever that clamps the arca plate because it wouldn't grip straight from the manufacturer. It was easy enough luckily, remove 4 screws and adjust the lever on the gear. I would pass on this if I could do it again. I'm sure there's someone out there who uses their camera without a cage but still wants to put it in a rig, but I'm not one of them, so this definitely isn't for me.
