This Niceyrig Camera Cage supports the Canon 5D Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV, and 5DS DSLRs, providing protection for the camera while offering multiple different mount types for accessories. It comes with a wood-lined top handle that attaches with included screws and offers additional mount types for attaching accessories such as a monitor or mic.
The cage features a built-in Arca-Swiss plate on the bottom with 1/4 -20 tripod threads under it. This allows direct attachment to Arca-compatible and most standard tripod heads. The cage also offers a NATO rail on the side, a shoe mount on top, and 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threaded holes for attaching compatible accessories.
The top handle offers two shoe mounts on the front and one on the rear. It provides a sideways 15mm rod port and has 1/4 -20, 3/8 -16, and ARRI 3/8 -16 anti-twist threads.
The camera mounting platform has a 1/4 -20 camera mounting screw and is rubber-padded to safely support your Canon DSLR. The robust cage leaves access to all ports, controls, and the battery slot of the camera.
