SmallRig Camera Cage for Canon 5D Mark III or 5D Mark IV

On my 5D Mark IV: The cage's mounting screw protrudes too deeply and bottoms out in the camera, this causes the mount to wobble from side to side. Grinding a thread off of the mounting screw is not a good option since you want a good hold with your available threads. Placing a friction washer underneath the screw head is also not a good option because it would make the screw head protrude and interfere with mounting to a tripod. I wound up creating a shim to go in between the camera and the cage. The shim material that I used is for weather stripping electrical switchplates; the material is a durable foam approximately 1/16 thick which I cut with a scissors to appropriate size. A thin strip of rubber would probably work well also. On the right hand side of the cage (looking from the back), I ground an allen-head screw so that when it is screwed all the way into the right side of the cage, the bottom of the screw barely makes contact with the side of the camera (this part of my solution was not absolutely necessary, I just want the camera in the cage solid). Shame on SmallRig, 1/16 is pretty loose tolerance.
