The ARRI Balance Utility Dovetail BUD-1 is a thin, lightweight plate designed to mount under the ALEXA 35 cinema camera to facilitate mounting on a variety of bridge plates and dovetail accessories. It provides additional balancing and is compatible with the BPA-6 shoulder pad bridge adapter and other bridge plates, SAM plates, and shoulder pad rigs.
