Bright Tangerine Side Plate Kit for RED KOMODO/KOMODO-X

If you watch the official Bright tangerine video for their side cheeseplate (excellent product and worked better with the tilta cage than BT's own nato rails) you'll notice he doesn't attach it by sliding it on and depressing the safety pin. Instead, he unscrews the nato clamp to the point where it might come undone so he can grip over the rail and then screw it back to lock it. Why is this a problem? For one: You can ONLY use screwing nato clamps. The latch tightening nato clamps likely won't open wide enough to place them on. Second: if you did want to slide a device on from the top (you can't from the bottom) you MUST use two hands. The safety pin is unusually far down the rail so you can't say, use the nato clamp itself to depress the pin before sliding it down. Instead you MUST use a second hand to depress the pin when attaching something. The whole point of nato rails are how secure and quick they can be. These are a pain to attach or detach any nato devices to. I have the bright tangerine dji base so figured these would go well with them but I will be returning because of this design flaw. Basically this is a very well made Timmy rib. If you actually want to quickly attach and detach nato devices (handles in my case), I'd look at wooden camera or the tilta cage instead.
