The CAMVATE Rotating Top Handle can be rotated into a sideways position by loosening the red knob on top and changing the orientation. Along with this flexibility, the top handle features a sideways 15mm rod port, two integrated shoe mounts on top, and 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 mounting threads. It s designed to attach to a camera cage or other support via two included 1/4 -20 screws spaced about 1 to 1.6 apart (24 to 40mm). Attaching an optional short 15mm rod to the sideways port allows you to mount a monitor, EVF, or other accessory, while the two shoe mounts can be used for lights and mics.
