The L-Shaped V-Lock Mounting Plate with Arca-Type Baseplate from Neewer is a versatile, adjustable mount designed to add a high-capacity V-mount battery to your mirrorless or DSLR camera rig, which also allows you to quickly mount and unmount your camera. This L-shaped bracket provides a mounting baseplate on one end with an Arca-type quick release camera plate, a folding hinge in the middle, and an adjustable V-lock receiver on the other end. It is compatible with most mirrorless and DSLR cameras and compact V-mount batteries.

The camera mounts using the Arca-type quick release plate, which includes 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 camera screws. The baseplate also features a built-in Arca-type plate and 1/4" -20 thread and 3/8" -16 threads on the bottom, allowing you to quickly switch your camera between a gimbal, dovetail, handheld rig, or tripod. The base can also slide to extend the camera-side arm up to a 1/4" to accommodate different-size cameras.

Most compact V-mount batteries or even battery plates with a male V-lock can mount onto the unpowered V-lock receiver, which can then power your camera and accessories using their power outputs. The center bracket hinge and the V-lock mount can both fold up or down up to 180° to ensure the best placement near your camera to avoid blocking the ports or screen, as well as to fold down for storage.
