Attached to the front of the pad, the included Sliding Rod Block enables the adjustment `“ up to 2.75 in (7.0 cm) `“ that allows the operator to set a pair of 15mm rods and at the proper vertical level.
The Adjustable Composite Shoulder Pad is compatible with several other camera rig components from SHAPE and, because it accepts standard 15mm rods, other manufacturers as well. You can attach a counterweight to the back of the shoulder pad to provide more support for the camera rig. The shoulder pad is recommended for camera rigs up to 15 lb (6.8 kg) if you`re supporting it with dual rods or up to 7.5 lb (3.4 kg) if you`re using a single rod, so it`s perfect for heavy DSLR setups and lighter HD video camera rigs.
