ikan IK-RSR6 Overview
The ikan IK-RSR6 Hi-Hat Riser is an aluminum riser, designed to raise a 75mm ball tripod head approximately 6" above different mounting options. The IK-RSR6 enables mounting a tripod head with a 75mm half ball to a flat surface, allowing you to maintain the leveling capability of the half ball/bowl combination. This riser can be used as a hi-hat, mounted on compatible sliders with a 3/8" -16 mounting stud, and the three unthreaded holes enable using bolts or screws to mount the hi-hat to a variety of surfaces.
It features 4.625" of clearance between the bottom of the built-in leveling ball and the top of the base of the unit. This provides clearance for many of the longer tie-down knuckles in use with many popular 75mm video heads. This hi-hat riser features anodized aluminum construction which provides a balance between strength and weight, and it is well suited for use mounted on a board, slider, or jib.
