The QR mechanism features multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 mounting holes in its base so you can mount it on a variety of tripods, tripod plates, or mounting platforms. The QR mechanism is spring-loaded, allowing you to simply drop the plate into the mechanism and the mechanism will snap into locked mode. To remove the plate, pull the lever while simultaneously pressing down on the side release button.
