Magnus VT-4000 Overview
The Magnus VT-4000 Tripod & Zoom Controller Kit for Canon, Panasonic, Sony from features an aluminum tripod/fluid head system and a record and zoom controller for Canon/Panasonic/Sony LANC camcorders.
The tripod supports a payload of 8.8 pounds and adjusts to a maximum height of 59" in two stages. It includes a mid-level spreader and features retractable rubber feet with ground spikes underneath. The fluid head features separate pan and tilt locks and offers a full 360° pan range. It comes with a pan bar and quick-release plate with a 1/4" screw and locating pin. All the controls are located on the left side, leaving your right hand free for panning. A carrying case is included for the entire system.
The zoom controller attaches to the pan bar via a built-in mounting clamp and connects to your camera with an included cable. It regulates zoom at variable speeds with a pressure-sensitive rocker switch. It can also be used with Sony consumer cameras via an optional Magnus ACM-SAVR AVR adapter cable.

The Magnus VT-4000 Tripod System with Fluid Head is a stable, sturdy video tripod made from anodized aluminum that can support loads up to 8.8 lb. Overall, this tripod offers many features usually only found on more expensive models. The two-way fluid head provides smooth operation, and features a half-ball mount with a diameter of 65mm, with left and right pan bar mounts. It comes supplied with one pan bar. In addition, unlike most other heads in its class, all the head controls are positioned on the left side of the head, which leaves your right hand free for the panning handle. The VT-4000 tripod system weighs 7.9 lb.
Its 2-stage leg design allows you to adjust the height of the tripod from 27.6" to 59" . A middle spreader and passive counterbalance provide enhanced stability to the entire system. The VT-4000 also has separate pan and tilt locks, and a bubble level for precision leveling. The fixed counter-balance spring incorporated in the head will help with smoother tilt movements.
Its provided quick release plate features a standard 1/4" -20 mounting screw with a video pin, and has a sliding range of +20/-25mm - to enable travel capabilities - essential in balancing uneven configurations. The head s tilt angle is adjustable from +90° to -60° .

Magnus VC-20-SCP Zoom Controller for Canon, Panasonic, Sony
The Magnus VC-20-SCP Zoom Controller for Canon, Panasonic, Sony provides record and zoom control for all LANC-equipped Canon, Panasonic, and Sony camcorders. An included 22.5" long control cable connects into the controller on one end and into the camcorder s LANC port on the other. You can also use this controller with Sony consumer cameras via an optional Magnus ACM-SAVR AVR adapter cable.
A built-in mounting clamp allows attaching the controller to your tripod pan handle so you can zoom and pan with one hand and achieve a fluid look. The clamp opens up to 1.25" and also fits jibs, tubes, pipes, and bars. Zoom is regulated by a pressure-sensitive rocker switch that produces faster or slower control depending on how hard or gentle you press it. For tape-based cameras, a REC/RET button works together with a REC/RET switch to let you return to the last record position.
