It features precision fluid drag with a 16-position CB Plus counterbalance system. CB Plus is a sequential counterbalance design, featuring eight larger counterbalance steps that allow you to quickly and efficiently achieve the required counterbalance position. The system s one flick switch located at the front of the head adds a half step between each of the eight larger steps enabling counterbalance fine-tuning when required.

The spreader features pullover rubber stirrups that securely hold your tripod s feet, holding your legs fast while providing grip on hard surfaces. Once mounted, you can adjust the length of each of the spreader s arms individually as needed without detaching the spreader from the tripod. The spreader s flexible construction enables your tripod to remain stable on flat or uneven terrain. A pull ring in the center of the spreader helps fold the spreader up into your tripod when you close the legs.
