Neewer TP72A Overview
The TP72A Fluid Head Video Tripod & Monopod System from Neewer is a very versatile, heavy-duty metal tripod and monopod combo unit that converts by removing the tripod leg with the foam grip to be used as a monopod. Supporting a payload capacity of 17.6 lb, the unit comes with a fluid drag pan-and-tilt head that can pan at a full 360° , and it has a 1/4" -20 thread on the side for adding accessories, such as LED lights, monitors, or magic arms, making it an ideal solution for vlogging, recording, shooting on location, and more.
The included dual-mode quick release plate has an integrated Allen key and can be mounted and dismounted from the fluid head directly from the top, or it can be easily released from the side for quick switching from tripod to optional gimbal setups. The reversing tripod legs have a height range from 24 to 72" and can stand at three angles for low-angle, macro, and overhead shooting, while the convertible monopod can go from 21 to 74" with the center column and 21 to 57" without it. Added stability and protection against scratches are provided by the unit s rubber feet, which can be easily removed to use the integrated spikes for muddy, sandy, and other uneven surfaces. A carrying case is included for transport and storage.
