The DS-20 fluid head incorporates Miller`s Dynamic Fluid Drag system ensuring smooth, consistent fluid drag control across all temperature ranges and through a wide range of light and heavy settings. By being independent of payload weight, the dynamic system ensures smooth `starts` and dead `stops` for precise framing without any backlash. The system is fully sealed within sub-assemblies for a leak-proof, low maintenance life.
Preset Counterbalancing
The DS-20 uses a special designed counterbalanced system, to neutralize the effect of payloads and their centers of gravity. The built-in preset counterbalance system combined with a 60mm sliding camera platform optimizes tilt control in the intended capacity range. Allowing a +90/-70° angle tilt without worrying that the camera will topple.
Quick Release Camera Platform
Fitted with a precision, quick release camera platform that incorporates a sliding balance plate for fine tune payload balancing. The self-engaging action of the camera plate ensures rapid camera attachment in the field, while the built-in safety lock guarantees camera safety during setup and pull-down.
