Designed specifically for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K, the A-BC Underwater Housing from Ewa-Marine is suited to snorkeling and diving, as well as protecting the camera from rain, dust, and humidity. Depth-rated for 66 , it is made of double-laminated PVC film that permits operation of all the camera s controls.
The housing features an optically-neutral flat-glass lens port that accommodates and protects lenses with maximum camera and lens length of 7.5 and a maximum filter diameter of 3.2 . Using the supplied CA82 adapter, the port screws onto the filter thread of your lens. Lenses smaller than 82mm can be used with the included 77-82mm and 72-77mm step-up rings. The housing employs a pair of corrosion-resistant clamping rails that form a watertight seal, and are easily tightened via knurled thumb-screw knobs.
The A-BC housing comes with a yellow carrying case, Camera-Dry silica gel to absorb condensation in the housing, and foam padding to take up any empty space when shooting above water. Underwater, the water pressure will compress the housing, eliminating excess space.
Waterproofing
Safe to use at a maximum depth of 66 , the housing features a pair of corrosion-resistant clamping rails designed to withstand the harshness of seawater. These rails fit together to form a watertight seal and are easily tightened via knurled thumb-screw knobs.
