I am coming to this from only having a Sony A9 first gen. Wow... this thing is fast. I paired this with ProGrade Digital 480GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A Iridium Memory Cards. Fast writing to the buffer and being able to review my photos quickly even after a fast burst.

The only thing so far that I find annoying is that there is not an crop mode that is a virtual crop: zoom in but keep the full sensor image, cropping virtually so I can undo some of the crop in Lightroom later. Vs. APS-C mode which simply throws that data away. Why? I want to see my cropped vision in camera viewfinder -- especially more detail -- but realize I may not frame as good as I could in post, especially action/sports. Please Sony add this feature.

I have not used it yet besides a few walks around town.

This is a litemat spectrum 2L at more than half the cost. It's an incredible amount of light for what you pay for. On top of that, the bare 240cl outputs more that a arri s60 with an intensifer, atleast on paper. Key features as to why I purchased this is built-in crmx, rgbw, output, the shape of a 2l, and the super quick pop-up softbox. I rated this light 5 stars understanding that I am truly getting a huge bang for my buck but I don't discount the fact that there is still room for improvement with this light. For example, when dimmed down to 1 percent, it's still too bright under certain conditions. Also, the controller feels a bit cheap, and I don't like that there is no option for gold mount batteries instead of v mount. All in all, it's one of it's kind at it's price point and is definitely worth having on any job.

This is a marvelous piece of optical engineering. It has been said that zoom lenses are a lazy man's way of composing. With this zoom you can really feel a whole range of prime lenses. Only artists can determine what really works for them as individuals.

One has to guard ones freedom from outside influences, especially internet reviewers imposing their habits and opinions. Just pick up the lens and go on an adventure.

Nikon does again, another excellent camera body. Not too heavy, not too light--seems just right. And inside it packs a punch with so many settings/options. Camera technology has come a long way--awesome!

I have had my new Sony A1-II for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I am very impressed.
I have been shooting the Sony A1 and have always been a little disappointed with the focus tracking. The Sony A1-II AI tracking is definitely a big improvement. I can now track birds in flight when they go down below the skyline. Also love the pre-capture. I am now getting take off shots that I have never been able to get with all my previously owned cameras.

Using it primarily for indoor photos and videos. The combination of fast aperture, fast focus and silent motor makes it a perfect fit. When shooting video, you will not hear any noise from this lens when focusing - this is especially important for quiet interiors.

I’ve always loved the design of Nanlite fixtures and this is another fresh new look. It’s pretty lightweight for a 500W fixture. And the price is perfect for my budget! I have used this for ton of productions already and now looking to add either additional FC-500B or the FC-300B.

With the locked zoom lens of 24 MM this lens is super fantastic for that super in-depth control of aperture. The adjustable iris ring is absolutely fantastic and it works seamlessly. I absolutely love the quality of the lens and really looking forward to playing around with it with portrait work

I bought the Mark II for its pre-capture feature but the other upgrades like the articulating LCD screen and the speed of electronic shutter have exceeded my expectations.

This is my first e-mount lens as I am just switching systems. Since I am a wedding and family photographer, it is important to have fast glass from wide angle through medium-telephoto, and I need it sharp and performant as well.

So far it's been awesome (albeit it's winter here in MN so my tests haven't been paid shoots yet). It's surprisingly not as heavy as I feared - totally reasonable.

And I'm not in a huge rush to buy wide aperture primes, either. Might end up with just a 50mm f1.2 to compliment this.
