Designed to be installed inside mass transit buses, the from Axis Communications uses a 1/2.3" progressive scan RGB CMOS sensor to capture 12MP resolution video at up to 30 fps. Individually controllable IR LEDs provide up to 49' of night vision. The M4318-PLR features a 2992 x 2992 resolution in a 360° overview at 30 fps. It can also provide dewarped, panorama, double panorama, corner, corridor, and quad views in a myriad of resolutions. The camera's 1.2mm fixed lens delivers a 182° horizontal and vertical field of view. Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. A built-in memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards (available separately).
This transit dome camera complies with ONVIF profiles G, M, S, and T, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP66-, NEMA 4X-, and IK10-rated enclosure for protection from water, dust, and vandalism.
