The previous version is reported as being too sensitive. This one has good sensitivity, and adjustments, FOR HUMANS. The animal sensitivity doesn't work, as my 12 lb dog is never detected, and certainly nor or coyotes (outside a see through fence) or squirrels in the yard. I called customer service and it was laughable. They didn't understand their own product, and thought this was a wired camera. After 30 minutes of truly uninformed questions, they said I need to reinstall the app, which would require me to get back on an extension ladder and which I'm in no hurry to do (because the QR code for setup is only on the camera, not the packaging). The sensitivity issue occurs on all users phones (so different app installs) and also the desktop "cloud" version. Another issue is the motion detection for turning on the light. If you point the camera substantially downward, for example almost vertical to the wall on which it is installed, then the motion detector for turning on the light does not detect a person walking by unless they are almost immediately under the fixture. Basically, the light turn on feature becomes useless, so you have to use scheduled lighting instead. Install is very easy due to a nice mounting ring setup. High rating for that.
