I finally felt like I'd found the battery plate that could do it all, but in no time at all three major issues have emerged. 1. There is not enough clearance for even a right-angle SDI/BNC cable connector. I could attach my SDI cable (I tried three) OR the plate, not both. The only fix for this was to insert a cardboard shim between the V-mount plate and the distribution module to increase clearance - see photo. It looks janky, and ruins the otherwise excellent fit and finish. 2. SDI cable must be plugged in before attaching this module. Access is not possible with module attached. 3. The cable to the EXT port on the Komodo is forced into a tight U shape that will almost certainly break after a while. Also visible in the photo. In summary this product does not work out-of-the-box and is impossible to recommend for that reason. No warnings can be found to indicate that the SDI port on the camera cannot be used with this product, and the necessary modification reveals just how poorly tested this design is.

If the v-mount plate went up instead of down, it wouldn't block all of the ports (Aux, SDI, DC Power). There is zero way to plug the camera into DC power with this module on. They don't make a right angle for that. So you have to power down every time you want to swap a battery. Would have been such an easy design fix just to go up and not down.
