The walnut THORENS TD 402 DD Manual Two-Speed Turntable comes as an out-of-the-box solution for easy use. It has a silent, innovative direct-drive motor in combination with an integrated phono preamp and auto-play function. It uses state-of-the-art technology to provide ease of use and perfect sound. The THORENS TP 72 tonearm uses a carbon tube and a pre-installed AT VM95E cartridge mounted in a detachable headshell. The integrated phono preamp can be switched off if necessary.
Auto Play
The auto play function can be turned on or off via a rear switch. When off, the starting and stopping of the motor is manually controlled via the switch on the plinth. When turned on, the turntable will automatically start to spin as soon as you pick up the tonearm and move it away from its holder. The feature will also automatically turn off the turntable motor at the end of the the record.
