GreenTouch X3 32GB Kosher TAG-Approved MP3 Player (White)

The previous (different brand) MP3 player I purchased died after two uses. did a great job in helping me with the return/refund of that unit. I just wanted a simple way to play music through my job-site stereo radio, so the GreenTouch looked like it could perform that function. It was easy enough to drag and drop music from the Mac computer. Unfortunately, the controls on this device are very poorly designed. Please note that no directions come with this unit and none are available on-line. I contacted GreenTouch about this issue and was informed that they thought the controls were self-explanatory and that no directions were necessary. I did not find this to be true. There is nothing intuitive about the controls. To scroll down a list, you press the right arrow. To scroll up, you press the left arrow. The bottom button is a return function. The center button (identified with a play and pause/stop icon) serves a variety of functions, though in no logical manner. The power button doesn't seem to work with any consistency. Once the player is connected to a device, it doesn't seem to allow any further use of any of the buttons to control anything. And you can't even turn it off. Unless there is something physically defective about this particular player, it is rendered useless by the design flaws. I will return this one, too.I would only recommend this device to someone who is more interested in spending their time trying to figure out incongruent, inconsistent and fidgety controls, as opposed to listening to music.
