ELAC DFR52 Overview
This Kit includes two of the ELAC Debut Reference Three-Way Floorstanding Speakers to be used as a left and right pair.
Enjoy dynamic sound from your amplifier with the with black baffle & walnut cabinet from ELAC. The speaker features a three-way design with a 1" cloth dome tweeter, a 5.25" woven aramid-fiber cone mid-woofer, and two 5.25" woven aramid-fiber cone woofers. It produces a 42 Hz to 35 kHz frequency response and accepts up to 140W of power from your amplifier. One front- and two rear-firing dual-flared ports enhance the speaker s bass performance.
Enhanced High-Frequency Response
The Reference Series waveguide and grille design enhance upper high-frequency response.
Dual-Flared Ports
Three dual-flared ports allow for lower noise and higher bass output for improved bass dynamics.
Bracing
A full-perimeter brace that joins the top and side panels significantly lessens cabinet vibrations, minimizing cabinet coloration.
Cast Chassis Woofers
Dual cast chassis woofers provide improved stiffness for both strengthening the front baffle and minimizing chassis resonances.
Ceramic Magnet
Oversized ceramic magnets produce high motor strength for powerful bass reproduction.
Top & Bottom Plates
The top and bottom plates are constructed from low carbon steel for high magnetic conductivity to maximize flux density.
