ELAC UF52 Overview
This Kit includes two of the Uni-Fi 2.0 UF-52 Floorstanding Speakers from ELAC to be used as a left and right pair.
Enjoy dynamic sound from your amplifier with the black ash vinyl . It features a three-way design with a 1" soft-dome tweeter concentrically mounted to a 4" aluminum cone midrange, plus three 5.25" aluminum cone woofers. It accepts 40 to 140W of power from your amplifier and produces a 42 Hz to 35 kHz frequency response for room-filling, full-range sound with enhanced treble. The cabinet is made from MDF and features three rear-firing dual-flared ports to boost the low-frequency effects.
3-Way Speaker Design
With separate tweeter, midrange, and bass drivers, the UF52 delivers clean bass without distorting vocals.
Newly Developed Concentric Driver
A new wide-surround tweeter enhances its low- and high-frequency extension, allowing for improved blending with the midrange driver. An entirely new midrange design features a larger diameter voice coil, new aluminum cone profile, new low-profile surround, and an all-new neodymium magnet assembly.
New Single-Piece Woofer
A newly developed single-piece aluminum-dished cone results in improved stiffness. Combined with an oversized magnet, large diameter voice coil, and extended pole piece, these changes result in improved accuracy and bass dynamics.
Sophisticated 3-Way Crossover
An enhanced design improves response linearity, improves driver integration, and delivers a true 6 ohm nominal impedance for compatibility with virtually all A/V receivers.
Enhanced Bracing
Every Uni-Fi 2.0 enclosure is engineered with thick MDF outer walls and a luxurious black ash vinyl finish. Specially located CARB2-rated MDF internal bracing adds stiffness and strength to the cabinet s outer walls, reducing the cabinet vibration that causes unwanted coloration.
High Quality Base and Feet
An outrigger base design for the UF52 floorstander provides a larger, more stable footprint and allows optimum coupling of the speaker cabinet to the floor.
