This Reference Premiere RP-8060FA II 2-Way Floorstanding Speaker Kit includes a pair of RP-8060FA II speakers in a ebony finish. They are ideally suited for use in home theaters as front left and right speakers, thanks to their front-firing pair of 8" Cerametallic woofers, a 1" tweeter, and the ability to produce up to 150W RMS of power. Each speaker also has integrated up-firing Atmos drivers, which work to envelop viewers in an immersive surround sound experience. This makes them extremely capable for all of your home audio needs, delivering clear and powerful high-fidelity sound.

90 x 90° Silicone Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn

Klipsch s proprietary Tractrix geometry in the horn is specifically crafted to efficiently transfer the high frequencies of the tweeter to the listener. This second-generation Tractrix horn is larger for better directivity and a wider overall soundstage. The Tractrix horn can accomplish this level of audio fidelity and smooth frequency response by being combined with a phase plug and a compressed molded silicone face.

LTS Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter

Part of Klipsch s Reference line, the LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) works to minimize distortion for more detailed audio reproduction.

Vented Tweeter Design

The vented tweeter housing in this floorstanding speaker clarifies the high-frequency signal by reducing standing waves that would otherwise create unwanted harmonics.

Cerametallic Woofers

Another signature aspect of Klipsch s Reference Premiere speakers is the Cerametallic woofers. This floorstanding speaker is equipped with dual 8" woofers in the main body and a single up-firing 6.5" Atmos height woofer inside the top of the speaker. Tractrix Ports

If you prefer a deeper bass from your speakers, the integrated ports of the RP-8060FA II utilize Klipsch s Tractrix geometry to produce clean and punchy low-end frequencies. The geometry allows the air to quickly and efficiently exit the speaker, which also reduces port noise. Customized inner flares further lower noise by reducing air turbulence entering the port.

Premium Construction

Klipsch uses furniture-grade MDF for a durable and attractive appearance. The cabinet is internally braced and sectioned in such a way as to minimize resonances and vibrations. The ebony vinyl finish includes satin-painted baffles that have a scratch-resistant coating.

Magnetic Grille

You have the option of exposing the copper-colored woofers or to cover them up with the included magnetic speaker grilles.

Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping

Dual input terminals on the back of each speaker allow you to bi-wire and bi-amp with additional (optional) cabling. Bi-wiring allows you to separate the high and low frequencies to each cable. By separating them, interference and distortion are minimized, delivering a clearer sound that has more accuracy in your listening environment. Bi-amping can generate more power for your speakers by using outboard crossovers with your separate power amplifiers.

Cast Aluminum Feet

In addition to its sleek and modern appearance, the cast aluminum feet of the RP-8060FA II provide less resonance than using wood or plastic.
