It features Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, Wi-Fi, and Spotify Connect technologies to connect to nearly any wireless component in your home. The speaker also has an Ethernet port for wired network connectivity. It has two 1" tweeters, two 4" woofers, and a bass reflex port to help create an immersive soundstage.
The MusicCast 50 can be controlled wirelessly with the MusicCast app, which is available for compatible Android and iOS devices. You can also pair two MusicCast 50 speakers together for stereo sound, or with other MusicCast-compatible components for music streaming throughout the house or for wireless surround sound.

After a future firmware update, you ll be able to add a MusicCast SUB 100 to a pair of MusicCast 50 speakers to create a 2.1-channel system.
