Transmit a UHD-quality signal over long distances with the GVE4K60KIT 4K Video Extender/Splitter Over Cat 6 Kit from IOGEAR. The kit is an ideal solution for a home theater, but can be expanded to accommodate commercial applications. The transmitter can send a 4K signal (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling over a Cat 6 network with near zero latency (1 ms). This is ideal for smooth movie playback and responsive gaming. With up to nine additional receiver units (not included), you can split a singular signal across multiple displays.

Extend or Split

With this kit as-is, you can extend an HDMI signal over Cat 6 in 1-to-1 Mode, which is great for watching a movie on Blu-ray when your player is in a media cabinet in a separate room from your TV or projection screen. With optional additional receivers, you can use Splitter Mode to send the same signal to multiple displays. This is ideal for showcasing advertising or other public-facing information in a large area.

Long-Range Transmission

Utilizing Cat 6 cabling across a network, you can send a signal up to 230 away to the first receiver. When using additional receivers, the distance between cascading receivers remains decently long at up to 165 .

Bi-Directional IR

Control goes both way with this IOGEAR extender/splitter kit. The playback source can be controlled from a display-side receiver, and the receiver-side display can be controlled from the source.
